About the Role

As Cinareo’s Senior Lead Technical Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our engineering practices, driving innovation, and leading the development of our products. You will be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge data science techniques with robust capacity planning algorithms, and intuitive UX.

You’ll work closely with the founders of the Company and have a high degree of influence and input. The right candidate will have a high degree of versatility and excels at creating software at all layers of web application platforms, with a large-scale systems architect’s mindset.

The role requires outstanding communication and customer empathy skills, and a strong background in data science and multi-vector optimization functions. Since we are a remote-first company, you will simultaneously need to be able to collaborate well and be self-directed and work independently. The ideal person will be passionate about building the future of capacity planning.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management: 

  • Work with a team of external engineers and data scientists to build our internal engineering capabilities. 

  • Build and lead a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Recruit, mentor, and develop top talent.

  • Drive technical excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, adoption of best practices, and staying ahead of the technology curve. 

Strategic Leadership: 

  • Provide strategic direction for the technical operations and R&D functions, aligning it with the company’s overall goals and objectives. Develop and execute a clear technology roadmap that drives innovation and product excellence. 

  • Define and direct the engineering strategy in alignment with the company’s business goals, focusing on innovation, scalability, and timely delivery of products. 

  • Manage software development lifecycle, ensuring that design, testing, and maintenance are meeting quality standards. 

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of the technology operations and R&D department’s efforts. 

Vendor Management: 

  • Oversee resource allocation and budget management to optimize costs and efficiency. 

  • Work with vendor partners in a collaborative and consultative manner for augmentation of technical research and development efforts. 

Technologies: 

  • Proficiency in Python (FastAPI, concurrency), Scala, or similar; familiarity with Node.js is a plus. 

  • Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and other big data frameworks. 

  • Proficiency with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and other ML libraries and frameworks. 

  • Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar. 

  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc. 

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools like PrometheKus and Grafana. 

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and both front-end and back-end development frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of at least 4+ years in engineering leadership roles, preferably in data science, AI, or capacity planning technologies.

  • Expertise leading and working in a SaaS environment developing enterprise B2B products.

  • Knowledge and experience of the contact center industry and technologies (nice-to-have)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. PhD is a plus.

  • Demonstrable experience in leading large-scale software projects and delivering high-quality solutions in a timely manner.

  • Strong technical prowess with hands-on experience in modern software practices and tools, including AI and machine learning.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team of diverse backgrounds and technical levels.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
